This morning's view of the Sun taken with a White Light solar filter. Several sunspot groups are currently visible, with AR 4140 on the left having just rotated into view.

Our meeting on 7th July is a practical outside Solar Observing Evening.

Members are encouraged to bring along their own telescopes to safely view the Sun through both visible 'white light' and H-Alpha.

All welcome.
