May 2026 – M44 The Beehive Cluster in Cancer. Imaged through a Dwarf III Smartscope. Processing within Smartscope with small adjustments using the Apple Pixelmator Pro Software. Paul Blackman.

April 2026 – The Rosette Nebula – 3 hours (60×180 second integration) in Ha/OIII. William Optics 71 star refractor. ZWO 071MC Pro Camera. Processed using Siril. David Bryant.

March 2026 – The Lunar Crater, Clavius taken by David Bryant through an 8-inch Newtonian telescope. Clavius is a large prominent crater in the southern highlands of the Moon.

February 2026 – IC 1805 – The Heart Nebula taken by Graham Algeo using a Sharpstar 61 EDPH-II with the Optolong L-Extreme narrow band filter.

The Heart Nebula is an emission nebula which lies 7,500 light years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia.

@neneastro an image of the Rosette nebula in Monoceros taken with the SeeStar 30 which was my Christmas present to the grandchildren. They have not had a lot of luck with the weather and live on the outskirts of Southampton but have still managed to get some impressive images.

Taken last Tuesday evening by group member David Bryant, this is the Shark Nebula, a dark nebula in the constellation of Cepheus. 140 x 3 minute exposures.
