Based in East Northamptonshire, the Nene Valley Astronomical Society (NVAS) exists to promote and advance the science of astronomy in this area, both amongst it’s members and the public.
Our activities centre around our fortnightly meetings at Chelveston Village Hall and monthly meetings at Sudborough Village Hall. Additionally, we also hold regular observing sessions on clear Friday evenings. Founded in 2009, we currently have over 50 members ranging from those just starting out to more experienced amateur astronomers. All of our meetings and events are open to all, so if you are interested in finding out more then why not come along…
